The Conversation
Every commission begins with a conversation. We talk about how you live, not only what you wear — your work, your travels, the occasions that shape a wardrobe. All of it informs the garment long before a measurement is taken.
The Cloth
Together we open the books. The cloth may come from England, Italy, France, or elsewhere; what matters is that it suits the garment. We choose for climate, for life, for silhouette, and for how the thing will actually be worn.
The Pattern
From your measurements a pattern is drafted for you and no one else. It is cut individually and made by hand, with attention to balance and proportion. No block, no borrowed size. The shape exists only once.
The Refinement
Basted, tried, unpicked, tried again. You return more than once, and each time less is wrong. We correct to the millimetre and stop only when the garment disappears, and only the person is left.
The Delivery
Finished by Italian hands over weeks rather than hours, then handed over in person at the atelier. The pattern stays with us, ready for whatever you commission next.
