Convention keeps a house loyal to a mill, or to a country. We are loyal to the cloth instead. It comes first, and it always has.
Rogue Atelier is a bespoke tailoring house. We were founded on a small disagreement: that the best cloth and the best hands did not have to come from the same place. So we kept the few rules that make the cloth better, and quietly let the rest go.
We work by appointment, in three cities, for people who would rather not be found. The work is slow on purpose. Every seam is finished the slow way — patiently, and properly — because that is the only way we know that lasts.
Not everyone needs bespoke. Which is precisely why we do it.
There is no showroom and no hard sell. There is the cloth, the cut, and a conversation when it suits you. What we make is meant to disappear into a life rather than announce itself — luxury was never meant to be loud.
We follow the thread, not the trend.
The cloth is chosen first, from whichever mill serves it, and everything else answers to it. We buy little, and we buy well — worsteds, flannels, tweeds that are old-fashioned in the best way.
Then we rework it. Old cloth, a cut that isn't.
Calculated. To the millimetre.
The making happens in Italy, by hand, over weeks rather than hours. Nothing here is rushed, and nothing is accidental.
It is fitted, unpicked, and fitted again — until the garment disappears, and only the person is left.

Luxury has always meant more than clothing to Sean Marshall. It is the quiet confidence that comes from craftsmanship, restraint, and the understanding that the finest things in life are rarely the loudest.
Born in Europe and holding dual U.S. and U.K. citizenship, Sean divides his time between New York City and Milan, Italy, where he works exclusively by private appointment through The Rogue Atelier.
His journey into bespoke tailoring began on London's Savile Row, where he trained in garment construction and traditional tailoring at Scabal before establishing The Rogue Atelier in 2015. What began as a bespoke tailoring house has since evolved into a complete luxury house encompassing bespoke clothing, ready-to-wear collections, accessories, womenswear, and collaborative design projects for select luxury brands.
Today, Sean creates wardrobes for Fortune 500 executives, professional athletes, entertainers, entrepreneurs, and private clients who value craftsmanship over trends. Every commission is approached with the same philosophy: exceptional clothing should feel deeply personal, timeless in design, and uncompromising in execution.
Beyond private appointments, Sean collaborates with luxury brands and select corporate partners to create bespoke apparel, custom textile programs, branded merchandise, and experiential design pieces that extend a brand's identity beyond traditional marketing. Whether designing a custom jacket lining, developing collectible accessories, or producing limited-edition collaborations, each project is guided by the same principles of craftsmanship, storytelling, and enduring design.
Today, The Rogue Atelier continues to serve clients throughout North America and Europe, creating garments and experiences that are intended not simply to be worn, but to become part of a client's personal legacy.
